Transition Panel for Parents and Guardians
Every fall, a panel is organized to inform parents and guardians of eighth grade students about the Upper School experience. The panel includes the heads of departments from the Upper School, who provide their insights on the transition process. Students and parents who have experienced the transition also share their journeys and advice.
“Great Visit” for Eighth Graders
This special visit day allows eighth graders to experience a day in the life of an Upper School student. It enables them to feel the Upper School environment, attend classes, and understand culture.
Ninth Grade Advisories and Retreat
Ninth grade advisories participate in a retreat designed explicitly for eighth graders. These activities aim to help new students acclimate to high school, both academically and socially.
Through these well-thought-out programs, we ensure that students and their families are prepared for the transition. By providing information, firsthand experiences, and dedicated support, the transition becomes a seamless and positive experience, laying a strong foundation for the students’ Upper School years.
