Jazz Musician Entertains the Elderly During Quarantine
Sophomore Kaiya B ‘23 was featured in a San Mateo Daily Journal article about her weekly jazz concerts for residents of assisted living homes across the nation. Kaiya has organized and played in over 100 virtual concerts since summer 2020...
...delighting seniors who can not leave their facilities and often can not have in-person visitors. Kaiya brings in fellow Crystal musicians to join her and looks forward to getting to know individual residents through frequent visits.
