Born out of a necessity for a “private, non-profit, non-sectarian, day school for girls,” Crystal Springs Uplands School was established in 1953. Since its inception, Crystal has been committed to provide a comprehensive education that includes solid academics, arts, and athletics, ensuring the well-rounded development of its students. This early dedication to fostering an environment of free thought and open discussion of controversial subjects laid the groundwork for the school’s current reputation as an institution that encourages critical thinking and responsible citizenship.
